“This resolution comes as a huge relief to customers facing higher costs, service disruptions, and safety risks resulting from the lockout. Governor Cuomo deserves tremendous credit for bringing both sides together and hammering out a fair deal on behalf of all New Yorkers. I commend Local 1-2 of the Utility Workers Union and Con-Edison for putting this lockout to rest, and restoring safe and reliable utility service to our City.”
