Programs that champion and uplift young people help make New York City special. Over the course of his time in elected office, Public Advocate Jumaane D. Williams has been a strong champion for the expansion of quality Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) and enrichment opportunities for youth and young adults. Despite investments in programming, demand continues to outweigh the number of available seats. Therefore, it was vital for us to share many other possible opportunities for youth. We recognize the importance of enjoying breaks with relaxation and fun while encouraging opportunities to learn and grow, perhaps even earning income!
